Dutch Owl is a blog about Dutch primary education, as seen through expat eyes. As parents of kids in groups 1 and 4, we keep learning to navigate the school of our children. As an ex-academic, I enjoy discovering how the school works, what to expect in the curriculum and how to come up with extra activities that integrate with the school program. With this blog, we would like to share what we have learnt so far, answer questions which may seem obvious to your Dutch friends, and create a collection of resources useful for other parents.
